Special Notice

This has reference to the Circular No. DE.5/43/04/Exam/2019-20/497-501 dated 09 April, 2021 issued by the Director of Education, GNCT of Delhi regarding discontinuation of all Academic & Examination Activities for students of Classes IX to XII through physical mode.

In compliance of the above, it is hereby informed to all concerned students, parents and teachers that conduct of all Academic and Examination Activities through physical mode in the School premises shall remain suspended with immediate effect till further orders. Accordingly, no student of Classes IX to XII is permitted to attend for any kind of examination related physical activities in the School premises till further communication in the matter.

However, the conduct of Digital/Online Classes will continue as per the schedules.

Topic- “Why Fit In When You are Born to Stand Out?”- Autism Awareness

“What seems to us bitter trials are often blessings in disguise.”-Oscar Wilde To call attention to the marked-out disorder of Autism, students of oriented the audience on the importance of raising awareness about Autism .

The presentation began with a melodious and lyrical prayer sung by Saanvi Pandey to seek the blessings of the Almighty. Thought-provoking quotes were shared by Akshita Bhardwaj and Padmini Ashish Kundu followed by inspiring speeches by Gunn Garg, Rudrakshi Mittal and Aadvik Dhingra. A beautiful ,self composed poems was recited by Sheen Madan and Kanak Devnani provided perceptive insights into the topic.The comperes,  Mysa Manzoor Dar, Shreyas Gupta, Saanvi Khurana, Sannidhya Rai and Vrishti Gupta kept the topic alive during the presentation by introducing the various conventions of the assembly. The presentation concluded on a positive note with the mellifluous  recitation of a hymn by Naisha Jain followed by a vote of thanks delivered by Vani Sen and Shreyas Gupta. The eye-catching invites and slides were prepared by Prisha Tharkoti and Padmini Ashish Kundu.

Topic- Within you is the light of Thousand Suns

Within You Is Everything You Have Been Looking For.The light you’re seeking out there is already within you.Your spark comes from being the person you always wanted to be.

The class presentation commenced with an alluring shloka by Priyal Vishal and an enlightening explanation of the same by Riya Jain . A melodious prayer sung by Preksha Khate was next in line.This was followed by an introduction of the presentation  by Riya Jain. Aditi then delved deeper into the significance of the topic with the thought for the day following which Krishna Raj Mangalam shared his thoughts on the topic through a  self composed poem. Anayata Taneja, Krish Gupta, and Udit Chauhan delivered thought provoking speeches .The presentation ended with  the rendition of ‘Aashayein’ by Keshav Baheti.To  conclude, a  few lines were spoken by Kaushal Bothra and a vote of thanks proposed by Riya Jain.The presentation was made by Krish Gupta ,who also compiled the audios and the e-invite was made by Riya

Topic- Autism Awareness Day

The class presentation on the topic ‘Autism Awareness Day’  was held on April 6,2021.JM Barrie wrote a wonderful line in his book ‘ The Little White Bird’ , “Shall we make a new rule of life….. to always try to be a little kinder than necessary ?” That forms the essence of our endeavours put forward today. It is not enough to simply be kind . We must be kinder than necessary , especially to the autistic people who face countless difficulties from society and community . Every student participating in this presentation echoed the sentiment of JM Barrie , expressed by the remarkable comperes , Ananya Gupta and Aditi Singh . An enlightening thought for the day by Jasreen Kaur and Eshanya Gupta followed by two amazing self composed poems by Keyur Singh Sirohi  and Pranav Vennelaganti  , fine speeches by Shivya Khandpur and Ria Srivastava furthered the spirit of Autism Awareness , finally culminating in an excellent song by Jia Bawa , Noya Noor Quazi and Eshanya Gupta. The slides and invitations were managed by Jasreen Kaur and the entire presentation was compiled by Satvik Agrawal . The presentation summary was by Shivya Khandpur .

National Youth Icon Award 2020

Malank Goel, a student of Class XI, DPS RK Puram, is the recipient of the prestigious National Youth Icon Award 2020. The National Youth Icon Award is the premiere and the highest youth award in India for excellence in development work aimed to raise the profile of young people and highlight the contribution they are making towards developing a fairer, sustainable, peaceful and prosperous future for the nation. He has developed a project SOLAKE : An Econometric Model for Sustainable Revival of Lakes tied together with Solar Renewable Energy Generation’. The Research paper has been published in ‘Clean Future’. Malank has a keen interest in sustainability and has been actively working on solar renewable energy solutions for the benefit of the environment and the society. 

This innovation is a collaborative effort from different streams, by bringing together technologies and techniques from revival and rejuvenation of water bodies, waste water treatment and ground water recharging, solar power plant design and implementation and econometric modelling to establish a financially feasible self-sustaining solution for revival of lakes and urban water bodies. It resolves two big issues that our cities are facing currently like the  revival of the lake ecosystem enabling communities around it to thrive and  Providing much needed green and clean energy, enabling the cities to become green cities.

He is a founder of Light Spread, which aims to make education available to children or low-income families especially after the Covid-19 pandemic. Light Spread is a not for profit. He has developed the platform to connect schools with members of society to fund the education of kids unable to afford/prioritize it.

In his free time, Malank write’s papers on current economic and market issues. He follows an analytical approach in analysing the impact of various events such as Covid pandemic on various stakeholders in society. Papers are published at his own Blog and are submitted at various Govt windows.
