Jeeval Kukreja of class XII-L has won a Gold Medal, in the Delhi State Karate Championship – 2022 which was recently conducted by the Karate Association of Delhi. Through this she has now been selected to represent Delhi in the upcoming National Championship, to be held at Pune. She has been consistently winning accolades in various Indian and world International events for the past 3 years. She had the immense honour of representing India on the world stage, at Venice, Karate 1 Youth League ( conducted by the World Karate Federation) last year in December 2021 Her current world ranking is ‘165th’.She has also won 2 Gold Medals at the National Karate Championship at Goa – 2021, conducted by the Karate Association of India.

TOPIC : From Farm to Plate; Make Food Safe.
“Through this assembly, the audience was apprised of the need to be careful of what goes on our plate. The sumptuous food arranged nicely on our plate may have the potential to challenge our health.
The assembly started with a soulful bhajan sung by AADI NARAYAN PRAKASH;ANURAG BOSE(TABLA);GURAMRIT PAL SINGH(TABLA);HARSHITA BOSE ;KRISHANG RAJA(RECORDER);NAMAN KOHLI(HARMONIUM);NIGAM JEE;NIKUNJ AGGARWAL;PRAJYOT SINGH;YASHAS GOGIA of XII-I and Tisya Gupta, Anumeya Sehgal, Kushagra Gupta and Ayush Thakur of XII-J. The Thought for the Day was delivered by NIGAM JEE; SAKSHAM ADHAR of XII-I and Agastya Nath and Shubham Sen of XII-J. The news was read by Guramrit Pal Singh,Saksham Adhar and Swayam Nagar of XII-I and Shreyas Modi and Akshat Gupta of XII-J. The comperes ADITYA PANNU;MUHAMMAD AYAAN ALI;RIDDHI GUPTA; SUBH SINGH of XII-I and Ananya Tomar, Atharv Gupta and Nikhil Kumar of XII-J took us to through the course of the events.Riddhi Gupta of XII-I and Ananya Tomar of XII-J recited a self-composed poem. AARAV(ACOUSTIC GUITAR);ANURAG BOSE (PERCUSSION)MUHAMMAD AYAAN ALI (UKULELE)GURAMRIT PAL SINGH(CLAPBOX); HARSH RAJ SRIVASTAVA(KEYBOARD); HARSHITA BOSE; KRISHANG RAJA(RECORDER);PRAJYOT SINGH(ELECTRIC GUITAR); YASHAS GOGIA of XII-I and Tisya Gupta and Anumeya Sehgal of XII-J presented a melodious song and a music orchestra. The song was assisted with music by Yash Vashishth, Ervan Panghal and Nirabhra and Aniruddh Sharma.
The students also performed a short skit, where they showcased how restaurant owners chase for little profits at the cost of their customer’s health. The skit was written and enacted by ADITYA PANNU; SUBH SINGH;AADI NARAYAN PRAKASH;ABHISHEK JAIN;AADYA VERMA;NIGAM JEE; RIDDHI GUPTA; SAKSHAM ADHAR; SAI PRATIK BISWAL, ADITYA RAJ of XII-I and Aryya Lohia with Akul Ranjan, Ervan Panghal, Shambhavi Tripathi, Manan Khanna and Prarthana Madan of XII-J.Aditya Pannu of XII-I and Viraj Singh of XII-J was the narrator. A group dance was performed by Abhishek Jain, Harshita Bose, Krishang Raja, Ridhi Gupta, Tiya Saluja and Sai Prateek Biswal of XII-I. The invitation cards were made by Kejal garg and Chavi Goyal. E-invite was prepared by Kejal Garg.
The soft board was prepared by Parnika Banerjee, Sai Pratik Biswal and Praneel Majumder of XII-I.The assembly shed light on food wastage and insecurity around the world and how these obstacles can be overcome with increased global cooperation, regulation of distribution and an alteration in attitude.

“Topic: Today, I Choose Joy
Joy doesn’t simply happen to us, We choose joy and keep choosing it everyday”. Joy is a driving force in human nature that exerts a powerful pull and draws us toward our highest purpose. His Holiness The Dalai Lama says, “I believe that the very purpose of our life is to seek happiness.” Keeping up with the festive mood, students of IXG and IXH presented their morning assembly on the theme of joy.
The assembly commenced with the morning prayer by Jasraj, Vinamr, Ayush, Harshita, Monika, Himanshu, Tanisha, Alok, Bhavesh, Manthan, Reyaan, Krishiv, Aditya, Adit, Anupam, Ayush, Harshit, Rudra, Srivastava, Haardik, Mohd Ameer, Vedant, Aman. This was followed by a beautiful rendition of the Shiva Stuti by Shraddha. Kavin, Shreeya, Manya and Indreesh shared the thought for the day. The news was read by Arav, Mahira, Adit and Jaiveer. A meaningful poem was recited by Ishika, Mohanjit, Aanya, Anika and Vaishnavi.
This was followed by the choir comprising Sabeer (Guitar), Manbhav, Anuvrat, Avani, Tishya, Megha, Saiyaansh, Abhinav(Guitar), Jasraj(Clap Box), Shubham, Yasha, Akshat(Drums) ,Krishiv, Vedant, Gargi, Nirvana, Vihaan (Guitar), Rajasi. A powerful speech was delivered by Aman, Alvina, Siddhant, Ridhi, Arrdas and Yashika. The concluding act was a group contemporary dance performance by Caesha, Rehhet, Ashwika, Diti, Adrika, Omisaa, Nandika, Anupam,Harshil, Mysha, ipsita.

TOPIC : The Only Way is Through “
The human brain is a wonder. Through folds of tissue and pulses of electricity, it lets us perceive, attempt to understand, and shape the world around us. Being mentally healthy can significantly impact our psychological, emotional, and social well-being. It directly affects how we feel and act on a daily basis. Mental health is a major factor when we make difficult choices, deal with stress, and relate to other people in our world. Keeping in mind the topic “”the only way is through”” The assembly commenced with the morning prayer by Ishita Tharad, Tejasveer Singh, Aakansh Singh, Advika Singh, Ashna Aggarwal,Atharv Johar, Kashika Rathi, Nabil Khan, Pragya Bhardwaj, Shekinah Ramdin Fanai. This was followed by a Shloka recitation by Udit and translation by Tejasveer. This was followed by a Skit presented by Manya Sihag, Ishita Tharaad, Kabir Bhatia. Utkarsh,. The instrumental jamming was done by Atharv Johar and Isha Gupta. Thought for the day was presented by Achintya Mendiratta. This was followed by an entertaining skit by Jheel Kshirin, Ishaan Attam, Ananya Vashist, and Shriya Sandilya. The class sang a medley of two songs in Hindi and English as the concluding performance, sung by Ishita Bhargava, Aryan Sharma, Eva Singh, Pratishtha Batra, Shireen Rajora, Aarav Mangla, Yash Goel, Vedansh Jain, Chaitanya Goel, Jheel Kshirin, Ananya Goel, Ananya Vashisht and Anoushka Banerjee. Topic: ‘Be fair, Don’t pollute the air’.
‘Let’s fill our homes with prayers and lights and not with fumes and crackers’, with this as the central thought and keeping up with the festive mood, the students of X-K and X-O presented their class assembly on ‘Be fair, Don’t pollute the air’. The need to celebrate this festival of lights in a sustainable manner so that it may not harm the environment, is the essence of Eco-friendly Diwali.
The assembly commenced with Namya welcoming the audience followed by a soulful prayer by by Gunnika, Aditya, Samrath, Avni, Mihika, Jishnu, Akrita, Ojas, Gurmanya, Manya, Zaid, Navya, Emaad, Syed Abdullah, Agastya, Gaur Priya and Lakshay. This was followed by the invocation dance, dedicated to Goddess Durga, by Shaivi. Luv recited the shloka. The inspiring thoughts for the day were presented by Vrinda, Naman, Simran and Surya. Thereafter the news bulletins were delivered by Pratishtha, Samrath, Shivain and Aahana. The fusion music was put together by Aanya, Adyant, Ria, Sharnagat, Prachit, Sai, Averna and Mihika which was followed by the melodious choir comprising Aanya, Abbhiraj, Ayana, Manya, Rayna, Aditya, Gaur Priya, Shaurya, Aashna, Ahaana, Miraan, Aditya, Akrita, Rudransh, Lavanya, Rudransh, Sai and Samrath. A short skit highlighting the importance of celebrating an eco-friendly Diwali was presented by Shauryaveer, Yajat, Anshuman, Josh, Samra and Naisha. The assembly concluded with a vibrant and energetic dance performance by Geet, Pranavi, Sehejpreet and Vikhayat.
The zealous comperes of the programme were Aashna, Yajat, Shobhini, Sirat, Ria, Ameya, Kanav, Surya, Pratishtha, Manya, Anshul, Averna, Nafoldersmya and Sitamsh.
