SOCIOLOGY: PEN IT DOWN (Poetry Competition)
An intersection Poetry writing competition was organised by the Sociology department on 11 June 2020 for the students of Class XII .The students were required to compose poems on the topic ‘Poetry in the time of Corona: Fighting the Pandemic’. The participants were judged on the overall impact of the poem, relevance to the topic, expression, creativity and originality. There were 19 entries in all, out of which three were selected by the esteemed judges: Ms. Binu Chanan and Ms. Sudeepta Chatterjee.
