Breaking Barriers, Building Bonds – Together We Rise- “Inclusion is not a matter of political correctness. It is the key to growth.” – Jesse Jackson.

There are days when school transcends the pages of a timetable and becomes something altogether more profound — a space for shared reflection, for honest expression, for art that breathes.

The day’s theme — Breaking Barriers, Building Bonds: Together We Rise — was not a slogan, but a sentiment that threaded its way through every performance, every word, every silent pause. The assembly opened with a quiet reverence: a morning prayer that stilled the room, followed by a tranquil shloka by Shayona and Purvi, grounding the gathering in something older, wiser, and deeply rooted.

Kanav and Agrini, our comperes for the morning, carried the audience through each segment with poise and ease, not as announcers, but as thoughtful curators of a story being told in fragments of music, theatre, poetry, and truth. From the first note of the choir’s hymn to compassion, to the last echo of the national anthem, the assembly was nothing short of a tapestry — rich, vulnerable, courageous. Thoughts for the day were not platitudes. They were honest reckonings with what it means to include, to listen, to make room. The student speakers did not perform — they confessed. With clarity and courage, they challenged us to imagine a world where kindness wasn’t random, but a rule. A world where labels dissolved, and humanity remained.

The classical dance, introduced by Vansh and Satya, unfurled like a poem in motion — a breathtaking metaphor for shared cultural memory. And then came the poems — self-penned by Agrini and Kavya — that felt less like recitations and more like revelations. Their voices, soft yet unsparing, carved out silences that said more than applause ever could. A theatrical tribute to mothers stood at the emotional centre of the assembly — heart-wrenching in its simplicity, dignified in its humour, and achingly real. It reminded everyone that some sacrifices are so quiet, they go unheard — unless we choose to listen. The music ensemble, introduced by Anuvrat and Shivesh, struck notes not just of melody but meaning. Instruments became voices; silence, a canvas. Then came the western dance — bold, joyous, defiant. Abhinav and Purvi led with unapologetic energy, a living metaphor for expression that refuses to be boxed in.

As the assembly drew to a close, the compères offered closing reflections that stitched the morning’s disparate pieces into one resonant message: that true progress isn’t in perfection, but in participation — when every voice, every story, every soul is given space to be heard. Shivesh and Purvi’s Vote of Thanks was heartfelt and dignified, acknowledging every invisible hand that shaped the morning’s success — the faculty, the mentors, the school’s leadership. Principal Mr. Anil Kumar, in his address, praised the students’ intellectual grace and emotional authenticity, calling the assembly a “portrait of empathy in motion.” The ceremony ended with the school anthem and the national anthem, not as a formality, but as a shared ritual of unity — a moment of collective breath. This wasn’t just an assembly. It was a mirror, a song, a revolution wrapped in student voices. It reminded us that when we choose to rise, together, we rise as humans.

BOUND BY BONDS BEYOND THE BOOKS:

In a world that often divides, inclusivity stands as a bridge—uniting individuals across boundaries of background, belief, and identity. “Bound by Bonds beyond the Books” explores the unseen threads that connect us beyond classrooms and curricula. It is a celebration of relationships built on empathy, respect, and shared experiences—bonds that nurture a truly inclusive community where every voice matters, and every person belongs.

The Assembly began on a positive note with the morning prayer sung by Advita, Prachi, Hridya, Paridhi, Gurjas, Nimish, Aryan A, Shaurya, Aryan V, Jaskirat, Mridul, Jigisha, Harshita, Aaron, Samaira, Avaaniee. It was followed by a Shiv Stuti performed by Vaishnavi, Nivida. Thought of the Day was given by Dev, Anwita. Shloka was recited in Sanskrit and translated in English by Neelakshi, Saiyansh. News was read by Sidhant, Jaskirat, Ardaas, Vaibhav. There was a Dance performed by Tanishka, Trisha, Caesha, Drishti, Tanvi, Anishika, Paavani. This performance was a tribute to the unspoken bonds that connect us all—bound by understanding, respect, and shared human spirit.

Inclusivity isn’t just an idea—it’s an action, a feeling, a way of life. The speeches spoken by Ayati, Jasraj, Shivin reflected on how the strongest connections aren’t always formed in lessons, but in laughter, support, and shared journeys. The choir performance by Advita, Nimish, Jasraj, Jaskirat, Aryan V, Gurjas, Tanishka, Shravya, Aaron, Manan, Aryan A, Ishaan, Shiven, Mridul, Hridya, Sarthak, Armaan, Samaira, Shaurya, Akash, Paridhi, Vidush, Oujasya, Avaaniee expressed theme of inclusivity, showing how diverse voices can come together to create something truly beautiful. A skit of 4 students from our school showcased how while the students were learning to adjust with each other, they ended up making school their second home. It was a story of inclusivity—of how we grow stronger when we embrace each other’s differences and build friendships beyond the classroom walls. Sometimes, the most powerful lessons are the ones not written in textbooks.”

Last but not the least, a heartfelt tribute was given to the mothers of the world who shape lives with strength, sacrifice, and endless care. It’s not just a celebration, but a thank you—for every silent prayer, every warm hug, and every lesson taught without a word. It was creatively showcased through a beautiful poem recited by Caesha Goyal. The colourful digital presentation was created by Rujul, Prachi, Mokshaa, Shubham .The invites and soft board were made by Prachi, Ayati, Harshita, Nivida, Vaishnavi, Samaira, Anshika, Anwita and Gunika.

Diversity of cultures, traditions, beliefs, and lifestyles, is what makes India, our motherland, a unique and rich country. But it is the celebration of this diversity by embracing it with open arms & learning from one another , that we  are able to create a better future for ourselves and for generations to come, making India and this world a better ,beautiful place for everyone to live in peace and harmony. On Tuesday, the 6th of May 2025, the students of classes XII-E and XII-F presented their class assembly through a skit woven together with speeches, songs, dances and enactments. The skit showcased their journey of discovering the diversity of India, enriching them with experiences and appreciation of different perspectives & beliefs, leading to more open-mindedness and a sense of unity.  The skit was enacted by Ananya Singh, Gaurang, Swastik Sehgal, Nikita Bhardwaj, Lakshya Saini, Shaurya Singhal, Samika, Riddhima Rawat, B.S.Tarun Aditya, N.Ashwin Kumar, Akshat, Abeer, Arnav Singh, Shreshti Srivastava, Devraj Rathi, Nimisha Dutta, Vivek, Humaam Ahmed, Sinjini Paul, Arshiya Trehan, Amandeep, Gunika Meena, Naija. The audience was led through into Showers of blessings prayer song by Aidaan De, Arshiya Trehan, Nikita Bhardwaj, Aadhya Ivaturi, B.S.Tarun Aditya, Gunika Meena, N.Ashwin, Subham Panigrahi, Nachiket Mehta, Nikita Bhardwaj, Nimisha Dutta, Shresthi Srivastava, Swastik Sehgal, Vaanya Upreti, Devraj Rathi, Aaryan, Amogh, Atharva, Karan, Mayank, Bhavik Singh, V.Varenya Raju, Devansh Gupta & Ritwik Raj Soni. Vandana dance was presented by Sinjini Paul, Sohi Jain, Prarthana Agarwal, Ekakshara, Priya. The news was read by Vaanya Upreti, Yashit, Vidhi Malik & Sahir. The assembly was energised by bhangra dance performance by Aadhya, Abeer, Akshat, Amandeep, Gurpriya, Lakshya, Manbhav, Reeshan, Ronit, Saahir, Tijil, Yashit. Self-composed poems were recited by Aryan Pandey and Nikita Bhardwaj. A melodious rendition was sung by the class choir which comprised of Aidaan De, Arshiya Trehan, Nikita Bhardwaj, Aadhya Ivaturi, B.S.Tarun, Gunika Meena, N.Ashwin, Nachiket Mehta, Nimisha Dutta, Shresthi Srivastava, Swastik Sehgal, Vaanya Upreti, Atharwa, Gaurang, Gurpriya, Hridaan, Ronit, Shivein, Suhani, Tijil, H.Jatin Vikash  and supported by the instrumentalists – Aadya Shrivastav, Abhiveer Luthra, Ananya Singh,  Arjun Atroley, Aryaman M. Reddy, Lakshya Saini, Shaurya Singhal. The assembly concluded with an orchestral performance by Abhiveer Luthra, Aryaman M Reddy, Lakshya Saini, Rayhaan Rajkumar.

The e-invite was made by Arshiya Trehan and the digital presentation was by Anisha, Shaurya Singhal & Sinjini Paul. Soft board, invitations, and folders were made by the art team of Aadhya Ivaturi, Sonakshi, Nimisha Dutta, Shreshti Srivastava, Suhani,Ridhima, Vidhi Malik and Yashit.

When everyone is included everyone wins as inclusion is not bringing people into what already exists , it is indeed making a new space, a better space for everyone.

“One Stage, Infinite Stories” likely refers to the concept of a single setting or scenario that can be the basis for a vast number of unique and diverse narratives.

Keeping this message in mind, the Class Assembly of Class XII K and XII L started with a heartfelt prayer song by Tupuvi, Aditya Srivastava, Bhavishya, Daksh, Devkanto, Gudakesh, Taanya, Vibh, Daksh, Karun, Pranav, Shashwat, Aryan Veer, Pramit, Bodhisattva, Ishanya, Navraj, Saanvi Bansal, Hriday, Alvina, Pahal, Gargi, Tanmaya, Jayesh, Nouloshi, Rakchit and Nikhil. 

Then the Vice Principal welcomed everyone and led them through the morning prayer. This was followed by scintillating band performance by Tanmaya, Zohnish, Sabeer, Akshat Bhaskar, Hriday, Yusuf and Nikhil on ‘Naadan Parinde Ghar Aaja’. The Thought for the Day was given in five different languages by Zohnish, Avihaan, Vihaan, Shashwat and Aditya Srivastava. Shloka was recited by Shashwat and Hindi translation was given by Gargi. This was followed by a divine invocation dance by Pallavi (Bharatnatyam) and Arshia (Kathak).

Then there was a group discussion in ‘Then, Now and Beyond’ talking about the concept of inclusivity, diversity and belongingness by Aryan Veer, Nishit, Taanya, Navneet, Tupuvi, Karun, Alvina, Pahal and Aditi Thakur. In the midst of this group discussion, there was melodious musical choir including Tanmaya, Yusuf, Akshat Bhaskar, Nikhil, Pahal, Hriday, Zohnish, Sabeer, Navneet and Anahita Misra followed by a self composed poetry recited and written by Omya. Thereafter, the energy of the stage was taken a notch higher by a choreography titled ‘Jugalbandi’ which beautifully resonated with the assembly’s theme performed by Aarav Sirohi, Rohan, Sanvi Sharma, Omya, Mahira, Pallavi, Alvina, Pranshu, Saumya and Arsheeya.

The comperes of the programme were Aditi Thakur, Aryan Veer, Sanvi and Shaurya. The folders, handmade invite and e-invite were made by Zohnish, Nouloshi, Gargi, Mahira, Nishit, Ranvir and Akshita. The softboard was made by Navneet, Mahira, Aaliya, Saanvi Goel, Aditya Saurabh, Omya, Arav, Arnav, Pallavi, Zohnish and Nikhil. The ppt for the assembly was made by Pallavi and Navneet.
