TOPIC – PINK AND BLUE (XII T)
The topic of the assembly was Pink and Blue. Through the assembly, they broke some of the age-old stereotypes and myths. Our society has never treated girls and boys equally but now the time has come that we change our mindset and progress towards an egalitarian society. The assembly started with the classical dance followed by the skit. The issue was highlighted by some of the speakers of our class. The song, self-composed poem, and the western dance enthralled the audience.
So let’s not be either pink or blue. Let’s be a rainbow cherishing each and every colour of life.
TOPIC -UBUNTU- I AM BECAUSE WE ARE(XII V)
Folk tales and fairy tales are excellent narratives with which we learn to think through a range of human experiences: joy, disbelief, disappointment, fear, envy, disaster, greed, devastation and grief (just to name a few). They provide forms of expression to shed light not only on our own lives but on the lives beyond our own. Ubuntu is one such narrative.
