Topic : “NATIONAL YOUTH DAY- “VIKSIT YUVA,VIKSIT BHARAT”
The students of classes VIII G AND VIII H came together to commemorate and honour the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda which is also celebrated as the “National Youth Day”. The class assembly was conducted with the primary aim of sensitising the students about the philosophies, principles, and ideas of Swami Vivekananda and promoting rational thinking among students.
The assembly commenced with the prayer ‘Subah Savere Leke Tera Naam Prabhu’ sung by Rudrankshi Patra, Garv Daga, Ashvik Gohri, Medha, Aarav Devrani, Aarav Gupta, Rayna Sharma, Ritwik Gupta and Saisha Bajaj. The comperes Shriya Sawhney and Aanya Sehgal introduced the topic and invited Ishani Aggarwal, Naitik Jha, Ridaan Sethi, Agastaya Chandok and Kartik Vats to read the news bulletin. ‘Benediction’ a poem by Swami Vivekananda was recited by Kimaya Gupta.
Tanya Garg, Jai Goel, Ranbir Singh Dhillon, Vidhaan Garg, Nishchay Rawat, Ose Gupta, Navika Singh, Khwahish Tokas, Pranam Chandok, Diksha Vats, Divit Gupta and Kabir Khan delivered speeches on the life of Swami Vivekananda and his contribution to yoga. Myra Singh, Aekagra Sondhi, Elina Aggarwal, Shreya Walia and Aryaman Gupta showcased their talent with a mesmerising instrumental performance. This was followed by a skit on the life of Swami Vivekananda and his teachings which was performed by Shaurya Trehan, Ridhiman Panwar, Rayna Sharma, Maira Anand, Madhav Goyal, Dhruv Bhardwaj, Riddhi Jain and Siddhi Jain. A beautiful fusion dance was presented by Yantika Upadhyay, Anushree Chakraborty, Aadya Singh, Yashvi Gairola and Aradhya Gupta. In the end, Elina Aggarwal, Aditya Sahrawat, Saisha Bajaj, Shreya Walia and Tavishi Singh enlightened us with the teachings of Swami Vivekananda.
The aesthetic artwork, virtual designing, cards and folders were done by Arshiya Juneja, Akhil Ranjan, Kartik Rhode, Siddhi Jain, Riddhi Jain, Aadya and Yashvi. The digital presentation was made and presented by Ayon Choudhury.
