On 22nd August 2026, the Omega Zen Omega AI Innovation and Incubation Centre of Delhi Public School R.K. Puram celebrated the remarkable artificial intelligence projects developed by its students and formally recognised the top three outstanding achievers of its graduating batch for their exceptional contributions and academic excellence.
The occasion was graced by the Chief Guest, Shri V. K. Shunglu, Chairman of the DPS Society and of the Managing Committee of DPS R.K. Puram, along with Mr. Anil Kumar, Principal, DPS R.K. Puram, and Mr. Manoj Biswal, Head – AI Practice, VVDN Technologies.
The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Shri V. K. Shunglu,the Principal Mr Anil Kumar ; the Vice Principals Mr Naresh Miglani,Mr Anil Kathuria ,Mr Mukesh Kumar ,Ms Rashmi Malhotra; the Headmistress Dr Anubha Gopal and Incharge- classes VI to VIII, Ms Vandana Chandoke .This was followed by a soulful vocal invocation dedicated to Lord Ganesha.
The ceremony then transitioned into an extensive project exhibition, where shortlisted student teams—ASCEND, MudraPragyan AI, ReyCool, Examzy, and BiblioTech—presented their functional AI prototypes to the dignitaries. Through their presentations and demonstrations, the students showcased technical ingenuity, creativity, and the ability to apply AI to real-world challenges.
The project presentations were followed by the felicitation ceremony, during which the top-performing project teams and the three outstanding academic achievers of the graduating batch were formally recognised for their exemplary dedication, innovation, and academic excellence.
In his address, Chief Guest Shri V. K. Shunglu commended the school for the successful implementation of its AI curriculum and acknowledged the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence in shaping the future. He emphasised that AI is a powerful tool that must be used ethically, responsibly, and with discernment. He encouraged students to maintain a balanced perspective towards technology, while nurturing empathy, collaboration, human values, and a spirit of continuous learning.
The event concluded on an inspiring note, celebrating the students’ achievements and reaffirming the school’s commitment to fostering innovation, responsible technology, and future-ready learning at the intersection of artificial intelligence, applied engineering, and education.
