Topic: “Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.”
The students of 11th A and B had put together an assembly on National Education Day to mark the birth anniversary of India’s first education minister Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. The 11th of November is National Education Day in his honour. Education is a fundamental right necessary for the overall development of an individual. It is the key to success and happiness. It teaches you to be more compassionate, polite and sensible. The assembly commenced with a morning prayer by Sheen, Devaansh Gaur, Mysa Manzoor, Shubh Shrestha, Gunpreen, Hari Prakash, Palak, Hashmeet, Shaurya, Bhumi Raj, Divyanshi Chauhan, Shreyaditta Bhaumik, Lavanya Gupta, Prisha Tharkoti, Rishabh Gupta, Shashank Shekhar Haldi, Maitreya Pathak, Divyam Mukherjee followed by a Shlok by Gunpreen. The comperes were Shlok, Diksha, Mysa, Yashvi, Sheen, Izeen, Hashmeet, Shubhra Mishra and Hari Om Krishna.
The classical dance was performed by Asmi Grover, Ahana Saxena, Navya Modgal, Ayushi, and Aadya Kashyap. The western dance participants were Chahat, Aadya Batra, Aadya Mishra, Baani, Natasha Rana, Prisha Tharkoti, Gauri Agrawal, Jiah Biswas, and Avni Gupta. Anshika Adhikari presented the beautiful thought for the day and the news updates were given by Anshika Agarwal, Yashna Thakur, Palak Kaur, and Bhumi Raj. This was followed by a self-composed poem by Anannya Shankar and Bedika Gupta. Informative speeches were given by Nehal Sharma, Diksha Sharan, Ojas Upadhyay, and Nazeefah AzimThe chorus members were Sheen, Shlok, Mysa, Palak, Hashmeet, Shaurya, Gunpreen, Shubham, Nehal, Baani, Yashasvi Goyal, Khadija Yusuf, Jiah Biswas, Shashank Shekhar Haldi, Avni Gupta, Prisha Tharkoti. The folders were made by Izeen Hussain. The Invitation cards were made by Anshika Adhikari, Yashna Thakur, Prisha Tharkoti, and Jiah Biswas. The E-invite was made by Hashmeet. The Board was prepared by Suveer Dev Arora, Anannya Shanka and Pratisth Acharya. The Presentation was made by Izeen and Yuvraj Singh.
