Topic– World Nature Conservation Day

The theme for the class presentation was celebrating the World Nature Conservation Day.

The presentation commenced with an energetic greeting by Arham Nahar, followed by a short speech delivered by Garv Choudhary. Introduced by Harshit Tankha, a melodious prayer was sung by Tia Mehtani and Ananya Das. Introduced by Shashwat Mishra, Anushka Gupta recited a shlok which was translated by Vibhum Aggarwal. Shloka Chaudhary spoke about the importance of conservation of nature which was followed by the thought for the day by Aarna Jerath and Yukta Sawariya. Abhishek Agarwal explained how one can contribute to nature conservation. Next was a self composed poem recited by Abhitha Goel and Lakshmi Saini. A song by Palchin Dhoundiyal was followed by Gracy Singh’s speech and the vote of thanks by Priti Shree.                           

The e-invite was prepared by Laksh Marwah, the presentation was prepared by Abhigyan Gupta and Lavanya Gupta, the sketch was made by Kashyap Choudhary, while the audio was edited and compiled by Sherin Jasoria.

Topic- POSITIVE THINKING AND WELLNESS

The presentation started with the address of Shashwat Raj who introduced Ishita Agarwal for a soulful morning prayer. It was followed by the meaningful thought for the day by Atharv Mittal and Pranav Joshi. Then came the Sanskrit verse by Mehak  with its meaning. After this speeches of Shinjini Harisukh and Mehak on the topic.Swapnil Panigrahi recited a self composed delightful  poem. The last item presented by the students was a song by Aadya Dhir. The presentation ended with the vote of thanks by Samyak Savi.

Topic- National Parents’ Day

No amount of appreciation is enough to express children’s gratitude towards their parents. Students of IX L made an attempt to put parents’ love for their children into words.

Naina addressed the DPS family in her joyous voice, followed by comperes, Sarthak and Tisya. Aanya and Arnav  seeked the blessing of  the day with a melodious prayer. Shanaya enlightened everyone with a Shloka followed by thoughts presented by Chirag, Pranay, Ryan and Vaishnavi. Avni, Diptanshu, Diya, Reyansh and Zara expressed their views after which Arnav and Smera sang a mesmerising song. Mahik concluded the presentation with the vote of thanks after Sidhi’s poem. Compilation of slides, audio clips and e-invite were done by Pranay, Rihit and Vansh.

Topic: International Nelson Mandela Day

On the occasion of ‘Nelson Mandela International Day’, the students of class 7F prepared a presentation on Nelson Mandela’s life achievements, his  Anti Apartheid struggle  and his contribution towards justice, peace and dialogue. Nelson Mandela was a South African anti-apartheid revolutionary, statesman and philanthropist who served as President of South Africa from 1994 to 1999. He was the recipient of more than 250 honours—including the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993.

Nelson Mandela International Day is celebrated every year on 18 July to commemorate Mandela’s birth Anniversary.The day was officially declared by the United Nations in November 2009.

The class presentation commenced with a beautiful shloka recited by Mrinank Dey along with its English translation. The theme was introduced by Manaal Azhar followed by a melodious prayer by Aadya chhabra. Md Armaan Firdousi and Sanna Sehgal delivered a thought provoking speech . Nandika Sharma presented a quote said by Mandela and explained its meaning as ‘Thought for the Day’.The presentation was carried forward by Keya Srivastava and Aashi Singh who recited a beautiful poem ‘Invictus’.Thereafter, Sannidhi Singh, Tanmaayy Chhabra and Pia Mittal pledged to follow the right path, to be positive and helpful toward others. The vote of thanks was presented by Arnav Khandelwal. The attractive e-invite was created by Agrima Verma. The compilation of audio was done by Uday Veer Singh.
