The students of class 9A , B and C were taken to National Gallery of Modern Art on 14/ 5/19 accompanied by their respective class teachers Mrs Sangita Bajpai , Mr Anang , Ms Ekta and their social science teacher Mrs Bajpai. . Mr Argo Ganguly of NGMA guided them with nuggets of information and interesting stories. The children saw the Dandi March depicted as a salt river joining various villages through which Gandhi hi had passed. Works of Nand Lal Bose, Rabindra Nath Tagore, Amrita Shergill, ram kinkar Baid. He also recommended that the children see the movie ‘Inner Eye ‘ on the artist Binod Behari Mukherjee by Satyajit Ray. The children also sketched the sculptures displayed according to their choice. It was an educational experience for both the children and the teachers.
