Value of the Month – Tolerance

Class VI
The value of the month for April was Tolerance. The students were introduced to the concept of tolerance and what it meant to be tolerant towards people around you. The class teachers and subject teachers spoke about tolerance and how tolerance it could help avoid confrontations and lead to peaceful resolutions of conflicts. They also stressed upon the need for tolerance and mutual respect for one’s differences. The students put up quotations in the classroom to reinforce the value.

Class VII
The value of the month for April was Tolerance. Students of class VII were asked to observe the value of the month. With the objective of imbibing positive values in children, they were made to realize that real strength lies in differences, and not just similarities. Group discussions were organized in classes. Students actively participated, shared their views and brought out the importance of the value in order to maintain peace and harmony.

The meaning of the value was emphasized upon followed by board decoration on the same.

Various articles, posters, drawings, slogans were put up on the soft boards.

Class VIII
The value of the Month was Tolerance. Students were enlightened towards the importance of tolerance in our lives. They were told how tolerance can avoid confrontations and lead to peaceful resolutions of conflicts. The class teachers spoke about the value during their Homeroom periods. Subject teachers stressed upon the need for tolerance and mutual respect for one’s differences. Quotes were put up on the walls to reinforce the value.
