“Topic- Human Rights Day – Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere
Martin Luther King once said, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere”. Human rights are universal rights that all humans have by birth as they are moral principles for certain standards of human behavior. In order to highlight the value of human rights, the students of class XI-C had put forward a riveting presentation. The presentation started with Aaahana’s exuberant greetings and Avi introducing the topic. It was followed by Shubhang’s fervent prayer and Agrima, Samit, and Suparna’s compering. Atharva recited a melodious Sanskrit shloka which was translated by Tanmay. Prisha highlighted the violation of human rights and Rishit and Mansi enlightened us with the thought for the day. Aatreyi shed some light on the suffering caused around the globe due to violation of human rights and Ananya recited an eye-opening self-composed poem. Kayra stressed the importance of human rights which was followed by Yash singing a tuneful song ‘We Are The World’. The presentation was concluded by Yati and a vote of thanks was proposed by Aaahana Mehrotra. The e-invite was prepared by Aaahana and Prisha. The slides were made by Prisha and the audio was compiled by Prisha and Aaahana.
