The students of Class VI –K attended the screening of the movie “Iqbal Farooq and the Secret Recipe” at the Indian International Centre, Lodhi Estate on 15 November 2018.
The Nordic-Baltic (Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway and Sweden) embassies hosted the first ever six day long Youth Film Festival of the European nations in Delhi showcasing movies from the region. The aim of the festival was strengthening the bond between eight countries and reaching out to the culturally rich audience of Delhi.
The hostess, Ms. Ashima, welcomed the students. The movie which started at 9:30 am, was about an inquisitive and bright child named Iqbal Farooq, who enjoyed experimenting. He often got into trouble due to his curiosity. Iqbal loved his family a lot, specially his father. The movie was filled with adventure, excitement, and humour. The movie ended at 11:00 am. Students were given a goody bag each, containing a mug and refreshments, by the organisers. The students enjoyed watching the movie and had a wonderful time.
