To initiate the celebration of 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Sapling Plantation was carried out in the Delhi Public School; R.K.Puram Campus on September 18, 2019.Plantation was done by the Principal, Ms. Vanita Sehgal, Principal and Headmistresses, Ms. Rashmi Malhotra & Ms. Niva Chhonkar. Campaign against Single Use Plastic was carried out.Pamplets were distributed in the classes and the teachers discussed the need to say ‘NO to SUP’. The message to create awareness about the importance of Water and Water Conservation , Harmful effects of SUP were conveyed through Assembly, banner and Screen display. Students from Class VI to XII took the pledge to take steps to conserve water as every drop counts.
