Delhi Public School, RK Puram organised “Road Safety Awareness Programme” for the students of Class 1X on Tuesday, 15 January 2019, in association with the “Road Safety Cell” of Delhi Traffic Police.
Mr. RP Lavania, Chief Coordinator (South-West district) and Sub Inspector Rajendra Singh of Road Safety Cell, Delhi Traffic Police conducted the awareness programme. All aspects of traffic norms which are absolutely necessary today for the children’s safety were discussed in the programme.
A brief introduction of the road signs and the do’s and don’ts on road safety were told to the students. A small quiz on road safety was also organised. In the end the students took a pledge that they will follow all the rules of road safety and will act as ambassadors of road safety in their neighbourhood.
