On Wednesday, the 2nd of August 2023, the students of classes XI-C and XI-D presented their class assembly on the topic – ‘TRUST YOUR HOPES NOT YOUR FEARS.’ Hope is defined as “a feeling of expectation and desire for a particular thing to happen”.Martin Luther King Jr. rightly said “ we must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope”.
The assembly commenced with a melodious prayer “Ye mat kaho khuda se” sung by Ishaanvi, Ria Upadhyay, Pia, Navya Medak, Sukeerat Kaur, Tamim, Kaavya Mehta, Vatsal, Sharanya, Rida and Saumya. This was followed by a Ganesh vandana performance by Tanishqa.
The news was presented by Prithvi, Aakarsh, Vaishanvi and Ishita, and the thought for the day by Anupam and Riya. Next, was a self composed poem by Abhineeth and Navya. Words have the power to enlighten the soul, transform lives, open great minds and enthuse ethics which would last a lifetime. Keeping these thoughts in mind, a speech was given by Abhineeth, Vatsal Meeran, Arunima Dixit and Kanak. Meaning of hope was interpreted using a skit which was performed by Mishaa, Abhineeth, Kashika, Manas and Harikrishna.
To make skit more energetic a beautiful song was sung by Ishanvi, Pia, Ria Udhayay, Arunima Dixit, Arunima Sharma, Tamim, Sukeerat and the guitar was played by Gauri Bansal, Vatsal and Anupam.
