DPS RK PURAM STUDENTS VISIT THE AICTE IDEA LAB AND ATAL INCUBATION CENTRE – GGSIPU

Fifty students from Classes IX to XI visited the AICTE IDEA Lab and Atal Incubation Centre at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Dwarka on July 11, 2025. The visit was an initiative to provide students with first-hand exposure to real-world innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship. At the IDEA Lab, students explored various tools and technologies used in prototyping and product development, including 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC machines, and embedded systems. They also viewed working prototypes created by university students, ranging from smart irrigation systems to drone-based pollution monitors.

At the Atal Incubation Centre, students gained insights into how startups are nurtured—from ideation and business modelling to prototyping and funding. They were introduced to programmes like ASPIRE, SPARK, and IGNITE that support young entrepreneurs at various stages of innovation.

The visit sparked curiosity, encouraged creative thinking, and gave students a clearer understanding of how ideas can evolve into impactful solutions. Interacting with innovators and seeing real applications of technology inspired many to think beyond textbooks and imagine their own journeys in the fields of science, technology, and entrepreneurship. The children were accompanied by Ms Taruna Kapoor and Ms Preeti Jagota and the visit was  organised by: SPARK LAB & The InnoPreneurs Club

It  was a meaningful and memorable learning experience that will resonate with the students for years to come.
