The Hindi Samvaad Club and Hindi Literary Club of DPS RK Puram organised a cultural extravaganza on the life and creation of famous Medieval era Hindi poet, Amir Khusro, and Modern era Hindi poet and lyricist, Gopal Das Neeraj, on 30 Nov 2018 in the AVH.
Mr. Vinod Agnihotri, Senior Hindi Journalist and Editorial Consultant of Amar Ujala newspaper group, was the Chief Guest. Speaking on the occasion the Chief Guest said that it was good to see Public schools like DPS RK Puram taking active interest and conducting various activities to inculcate moral values and love for their own language Hindi.
Mr. Agnihotri and the Principal, Ms.Vanita Sehgal, felicitated the award winners of the Club and released the Hindi Club magazine ‘Srijan Lok ‘.
The programme was conducted by the students of Classes 6 to 11 and was coordinated by Mrs. Fatma Kirmani, Ms. Nisha Gupta, Mrs. Seema Mehta and Dr. AJ Saxena.
