The Economics, Business Studies, Accountancy and Entrepreneurial Club organised a webinar on the topic “My Entrepreneurial Experience” on 5th December 2020 for the students of Class IX and XI. The guest speaker , Dr Sharad Kohli, is an Economist, who has been bestowed with the titles “Startup Guru”, “Tax Guru”, “Finance Guru” by both print and electronic media. The session began with a welcome address by the Principal, Ms Padma Srinivasan. She motivated the students to inculcate those qualities which help the students to be a contributor towards the development of the Nation. Dr. Sharad Kohli talked about entrepreneurship which he emphasised is not a theoretical concept but backed with a creative mind, zeal, passion and enthusiasm for the same. He shared anecdotes from his life and highlighted the qualities required for being a successful entrepreneur. He welcomed the questions from the students through the comperes Vanya Gupta and Uday Garg of XIQ on the zoom platform and shared the mantra for success. He motivated the students and welcomed them to come back to him to let him know if his words had helped them turn into a successful entrepreneur. The vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs Anita Singhal, HoD, Department of Economics. The session was indeed informative and enriching.
