Game Strategy Programme (GSP): Mastering Decision Science & Strategic Thinking

On Friday, October 16, 2026, The Econocrats organised the Game Strategy Programme (GSP) in collaboration with the Indian Game Theory Society (IGTS) to introduce high school students to decision science, mathematical logic, and competitive strategy. Conducted by Mr. Manoj Gadia, Founder and President of IGTS, alongside Assistant Coordinators Mr. Pranav Bhasin and Ms. Lavanya Kohli, the masterclass shifted the focus from traditional rote learning toward structured non-linear reasoning and analytical problem-solving.

Drawing from his extensive experience conducting specialized decision-making workshops for premier bodies such as the GST Council, NACIN, and top university campuses like IIT Delhi and SRCC, Mr. Gadia demystified complex strategic concepts through real-world applications. Throughout the session, students explored how game-theoretic models govern market competition, corporate negotiation, and algorithmic trading, while also seeing how frameworks like Nash Equilibrium, Expected Value, and Backward Induction provide a distinct advantage in major academic competitive exams like the RMO, INMO, IEO, and ZIO. The interactive masterclass engaged participants in live strategy games, bidding exercises, and win-win negotiation scenarios, leaving behind a blueprint for students to establish a self-sustaining, student-led Game Theory and Strategy Club on campus.

The event concluded on a high note as Ms. Rashmi Malhotra, Vice Principal, felicitated Mr. Manoj Gadia and expressed her appreciation to the IGTS team and The Econocrats for delivering an inspiring session that fosters critical thinking and strategic intuition within our academic community.
