“La Magie de la Langue Française en Action avec l’IA”
Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram, in collaboration with Langers International and the Institut Français – Embassy of France in India, successfully hosted a dynamic and enriching French Teachers’ Training Programme on 8 and 9 November 2025. The theme for the two-day event, “La Magie de la langue française en action avec l’IA,” celebrated the synergy between the French language and the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence in education.
A total of 108 French teachers from Delhi NCR and several other states across India participated in this professional development initiative, making it a significant gathering of FLE educators from diverse institutions.
Inaugural Session: The programme commenced with an inaugural ceremony at the Audio Visual Hall (AVH) of DPS R.K. Puram.
- Ms Rashmi Malhotra, Vice Principal, DPS R.K. Puram, represented the school and addressed the gathering.
- Mr Jatinder Singh, Deputy Head of the Office for Cooperation in French Language & Education at Institut Français en Inde (French Embassy in India), graced the occasion as the official representative of the Embassy.
- Mr Dinesh Kumar Agarwal, Director, Langers International, along with Ms Karishma Kapoor, extended a warm welcome to all dignitaries and participants.
Training Sessions Led by Six Experts: The event featured six parallel sessions, conducted in the F-Block classrooms, and facilitated by six distinguished experts in French language teaching and educational innovation: Mr Laxmi Sekhar Kalepu, Ms Anuradha Karkun, Mr Hansu Nahar, Ms Surabhi Solanki, Ms Neha Bansal and Ms Rachel Ehrhart.
The sessions covered a wide range of impactful themes, including:
- Effective strategies for preparing students for the Class 10 French Board Examination.
- “From creation to correction”: using AI to enhance assessment practices.
- AI as a powerful new assistant in the FLE classroom.
- Improving pronunciation and oral comprehension through AI tools.
- Emotion and motivation in FLE: l’émotissage as a catalyst for learning.
- AI for playful oral interaction: games and communicative tasks in FLE.
Each expert offered unique perspectives, practical tools, and creative methodologies to enrich classroom practice and inspire innovation.
Closing Ceremony: The two-day programme concluded on Sunday, 9 November 2025, with a certificate and badge distribution ceremony held post-lunch. Participants expressed their appreciation for the insightful sessions and the opportunity to collaborate with fellow educators from across the country.The training programme was a remarkable demonstration of collaboration, innovation, and academic enrichment.
