As part of the school’s ongoing Cyber Safety Initiative, an Essay Writing Activity on the theme “Freedom from Cyber Frauds” was conducted on 5-Aug-2026 during the Homeroom Period for students of Classes VI to XII. The activity aimed to create awareness about the increasing prevalence of cyber frauds and empower students with practical knowledge to identify, prevent, and respond to common online scams.
Students articulated their understanding through thoughtful essays on threats such as phishing, OTP frauds, fake customer care calls, UPI scams, QR code frauds, and online impersonation. They also highlighted preventive measures, including verifying online transactions, safeguarding personal information, enabling strong authentication, and reporting suspicious activities. To make their presentations more engaging, many students complemented their essays with creative slogans and meaningful illustrations, effectively reinforcing the message of cyber awareness.
The activity was conceived and coordinated by Ms. Sarika Kaushal, CyberX Club Incharge, with the active support of the senior CyberX Club members, who encouraged students to reflect on real-life cyber threats and adopt safe digital practices. The enthusiastic participation across all grades reflected the students’ growing awareness of responsible digital behaviour and cybersecurity.
The initiative not only enhanced students’ writing, creativity, and critical thinking skills but also reinforced the importance of cyber vigilance, responsible digital citizenship, and informed decision-making in today’s technology-driven world.
