Class Presentation XI-I & X-F 06-10-2020

Topic-Be amazing, be yourself. Be YOU !

Mahatma Gandhi once said,” a man is but a product of his thoughts. What he thinks is what he becomes.” This celebrated leader has his own unique non -violent ways to stand against the oppression of the British. Keeping him as our role model we should truly believe in ourselves. Trying to be like others just to fit in doesn’t truly give you happiness or satisfaction as there is only one of you in this world. Keeping this in our mind we chose to keep the topic of our assembly “Be amazing, be yourself. Be YOU !”

The class began the day by presenting a class presentation made by Aadya dhir embedded with an e-card prepared by Ishita Mishra. The assembly started with a soulful Sanskrit shlok by Mehak. The topic was then introduced by Aadya Kumar followed by a melodious morning prayer sung by Mehak. Taking this forward, Shaurya Chaudhary and Atharv shared Thought of the day in English and Hindi. It was followed by a melodious song sung by Aadya Dhir. An interesting speech by Shinjini Harisukh and Shashwat Raj highlighting the points that though we are inspired by someone but we must always strive to make our own identity Swapnil Panigrahi recited  a self composed poem. The assembly was concluded with a thank you note by Aryan Gupta. Last by not the least the overall audio compilation was done by Ashay Srivastava.

Topic-Without Hard Work, Nothing Prospers

There are no shortcuts to success. Hard work is the only key to achieving it. As Sophocles said “Without Hard Work, Nothing Prospers”.

The class made a meaningful presentation on this theme, which began with a warm welcome by Muskaan Saxena and Arnav Hakoo. This was followed by a melodious recital of a prayer ‘Hum Ko Man Ki Shakti Dena’ by Shruti Prasad. In her speech, Prarthna Prakash Ranjan shared her thoughts on the importance of hard work, while Aditya Raj and Arushi Sharma drew attention to the fact that with sheer hard people of Ladakh have transformed pockets of this high altitude desert into fertile land. They also celebrate with equal zeal as is evident from a week long carnival called the ‘Ladakh Festival’. Khushi Gupta recited a self composed poem on the theme. This was followed by Ashmita Singh reciting a Sanskrit shloka as the thought for the day. Vote of thanks was delivered by Samarth Kumar Bhardwaj. A colourful e- invite was prepared by Muskaan Saxena and technical support was given by Pingaksh Sharma and Siddhant Giri who edited the whole presentation along with background  music.
