Topic- OUR NATION OUR PRIDE
August marks the start of the festive season, with Independence Day being the biggest national celebration. The history of the nation gives a glimpse into the generosity of its evolution – from a Country reeling under colonialism, to one of the leading economies in the global scenario. This transformation of the nation instils a sense of national pride in the heart of every Indian within the Country and abroad. The Presentation began to commemorate the 74th Independence Day, remembering the Almighty through a beautiful prayer sung by Yashika Baghel.
Next was an inspiring and stimulating thought by Parika Talwar in Sanskrit, the language of the ancient Indian subcontinent with a 3,500-year history, followed by Anika Bose in English and Anya Gupta in Hindi. A mesmerising poem recitation in Hindi was done by Ashwika Sharma and in English by Jayesh Aggarwal. Jasraj Singh Marwahl then shared his views on the theme. Towards the end,a homage was paid to the heroes who laid their lives for our freedom and also reminded everyone to remember the golden heritage of the country and be proud to be part of ever shining India!
