“Topic- Butterfly Effect: The Cycle of Kindness ‘No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.’ – Aesop
World Kindness day is celebrated every year on 13 November, to promote the importance of being kind to yourself, to others and to the world. Highlighting the importance of random acts of kindness in everyone’s life, be it from giving clothes away to people who need it more to simply listening to someone and being there for them, making them feel heard, Class XI T chose “Butterfly Effect: The Cycle of Kindness’ as the topic for their presentation. The class presentation commenced with a thought provoking Sanskrit shloka recited by Prageet Satpathy. Thereafter, the compere, Anoushka Jain greeted the audience with an introduction to the topic followed by a prayer sung by Oorja Akshara and Divyakshi Adhikary, the thought of the day was then presented by Deepitark Singh. A short speech by Ashmita Singh and Anoushka Jain on act of kindness, which was preceded by a short narration on Random Acts of Kindness by Suhani Sethi, Kalpit Jain, Rabbani Narula, Aadhya Dhar, Sia Malik, Aarav Sansanwal and Navyaa Mittal. A self composed poem in English was recited by Shaina Bedi and Vedanshi Puri. Lastly a song sung by Oorja Akshara and Dhvani Hari concluded the class presentation. A vote of thanks was delivered by Maisha Varma. All the artwork included in the presentation were made by Aadhya Dhar.
