Assembly X-I (25-06-2021)

Topic-  WHERE WORDS FAIL, MUSIC SPEAKS

Music is a higher revelation than all wisdom and philosophy, it is an electrical soil in which the spirit lives, thinks and invents. On the felicitous occasion of “World Music Day”, class 10-I  apprised everyone about the importance of music in our daily lives.

The presentation commenced with Shyla Vijay and Ananya Srivastava enlightening everyone about the power of music. This was followed by an auspicious and soothing prayer sung by Tavishi Mukherjee. Then, the potency of music was illuminated by a Sanskrit shloka narrated by Shreyadita Bhaumik and a quotation by Ruhaan Sharma. While the audience was mesmerised by Riddhi Sharma and Mana Sharma’s instrumental performance, Rijak Singh’s speech did not fail to leave a deep impact on everyone. After an iconic song from the movie, “The Sound of Music” was sung by Srivatsala Krishna, the presentation was concluded by quoting Khalil Gibran and a vote of thanks. The slides were prepared by Palak Goel and the write up was prepared by Shyla Vijay.
