Topic: BAKRID MUBARAK
The students of class 8I celebrated Bakrid through their class presentation.Bakrid is one of the most important festivals as it marks the supreme sacrifice of the evil within us. On the occasion of this festival, devotees offer prayers. After prayers and sermons, people embrace and exchange greetings with one another, give gifts and visit one another.
The class presentation began with a soulful prayer sung by Tejas Upadhyay. Veda Dua began the assembly by introducing the topic. Agrita Trivedi spoke about the legend of Bakrid followed by a hymn recited by Aditya. Ananya Goyal mentioned the other names of Bakrid followed by Aymandeep’s thought for the day. Varun Singh and Anushka Sengupta mentioned about the rituals of the festival. The vote of thanks was presented by Veda Dua. The slides were compiled by Arav Gupta and Veda Dua.
