Topic: United Nations Day
The United Nations Organization plays an important role in developing friendly relations among countries, achieving international cooperation and being a center of coordination for nations.
To mark the significance of the UN, the students of Class VII E prepared their class presentation on United Nations Day which is celebrated on 24th October every year. The presentation commenced with a shloka recitation on peace by Tamira Agnihotri and Kashika. This was followed by a welcome message by Yana Mehra. Next was a prayer which was sung by Pallavi Singh. An introduction to the UN and the significance of the UN Day was presented by Ahaan Chopra, Yana Mehra, Varnika Manlothiya and Kavnoor Kaur. Kamakshi Dogra presented a poem on peace. After this Amrisha Singh talked about Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose for the Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav program and Pavanaj Kohli recited a short poem about him. Finally, a vote of thanks was given by Hargun Kaur..
