Assembly IX-J & IX-I (01-11-2023)

“Festivals are occasions to empower ourselves in the course of humanity – they are the occasions to rekindle the promise of humanity in our heart.” Festivals are a significant part of Indian culture, acting as a vehicle for the presentation of our values and emotions. These celebrations not only build our community’s foundation, but also allow people to reflect on and uphold these principles in their daily lives.

The class presentation commenced with Rishit welcoming and beginning our day with a soulful morning prayer sung by Adarsh, Vedant, Advika, Gitanya, Yashika, Mannat, Abhishek, Aditi, Arav, Gaurav, Navika, Mahi and Mayank. A beautiful traditional “Raag Shankara” dance was performed by Akshainiae, Kyna, Laasya and Anika. Arivan elaborated on the topic of the assembly. Then Aditi, Kiara, Satvik and Aarush mesmerized us with their inspiring thoughts in Sanskrit and English. Divyansh, Guarav, Aansh and Kshitiz updated us with the current headlines and the weather forecast for the day. Tisya and Rishabh gave a speech on the topic.

Following the speech, a heartwarming and enthralling skit on the lessons imparted to us by various Indian festivals took place, showcasing the deep cultural, religious and social significance they have in our lives. The script was written by Samriddhi, Rishabh, Aditya Das, Aairah, Laasya and Vedant. The narrators were Akansh, Krishiv, Samriddhi, Disha, Shaurya V., Saesha, Rishav.
