TOPIC: “PEACE”
On April 21 2026, class XI and XJ presented an assembly on the topic “Peace”. It emphasized that true harmony is not the absence of conflict but the ability to handle it with understanding, patience, and empathy. It highlighted how peace begins within individuals and grows through thoughtful actions, responsible choices, and respect for others in everyday life.
The assembly begins with a prayer led by Navya N, Poorab D, Riyanshi, Saanvi V, Sanika, Siddhi, Aashman, Amaya, Ahmed, Anishka, Anshika G, Anvaya, Arav, Fatima, Harshdeep, Hrida, Hriday, Kriday, M. Arhaan, Neeva, Pihu, Prateet, Ridaan, Saisha, Tahira, Viihaan, and Zaid, followed by a vandana by Saanvi V and Anshika G. Speeches will be delivered by Ashna, Trishala, Naisha, and Veer C, with news from Vedant, Ishaan, Arav, and Utsaav, and thoughts & quotes shared by Arnav, Saisha, Neeva, Prakhar, Adeesh, Divij, Samriddhi, Zoya, Hriday, Kriday, and Viihaan.
The creative showcase includes a skit by Kanav, Satvik, Tushar, Garvitt, Pihu, and Ruhaan, alongside a choir featuring Ananya S, Arnav, Navya M, Reyansh, Anishka, Anshika K, Apeksha, Fatima, Inayat, Hrida, Neeva, Sansita, Reeya, Riddhi, Tahira, and Vir J. The skit began with a classroom conflict emerging between two students, wherein their peers intervened. The students’ words inflicted self-reflection on the disagreement. The narrative drew inspiration from history, through the characters of historians, and connected it to present-day situations through news and food for thought. Through dance, and music as they enter the music basement, the characters learn how emotions can be guided constructively rather than leading to conflict. The performance concluded with reconciliation between characters, emphasizing that peace is a conscious choice. The skit ended with this message in unison: “Peace begins with me.”
Dance performances were staged by Aarna, Ananya R, Aurica, Kavyaansh, Kiara, Pusan, Saara, Sabreen, Amaya, Anushka, Dia, and Inayat, with Rohan and Sonit on guitar. Organization and credits go to Sabreen, Saanvi S, Anshika G, Neeva, and Saisha for folders and invites, Saisha and Tushar for the digital presentation, Amaya for the e-invite, and a team including Anishka, Fatima, Hrida, Naisha, and Tahira for the board design.
