The Rotary Club of Delhi Resources, in collaboration with Chakra Dialogues Foundation, successfully organised a Free Health Camp for teachers and staff of DPS RK Puram, East of Kailash, and Vasant Vihar on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
Approximately 150 beneficiaries attended the camp, which was held from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The event brought together medical teams from Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre (RGCIRC), Akash Hospital, Centre for Sight and Clove Dental
The Health Camp provided a range of tests and consultations, including: Mammography, Clinical Breast Cancer Detection, Pap Smear Test, Blood Pressure/Blood Sugar (BP/BS), Bone Mineral Density (BMD), Body Mass Index (BMI), X-Ray, Oral Cancer Screening, Electrocardiogram (ECG), Neuropathy Screening, Eye Testing, Dental Check-up, Doctor Consultation (Diet, General Health)
The Health Camp aimed to promote preventive healthcare and overall well-being amongst the teachers. The event was successful in providing valuable health check-ups and consultations to the participants. Health Camp provided accessible screenings and check-ups, allowing teachers to identify potential health problems early on and receive timely treatment, preventing them from escalating into more serious conditions
Under the leadership of the Principal, Mr Anil Kumar, the programme was coordinated by Ms Niva Chhonkar (Hod-Biology) and Ms Vandana Chandoke (Hod-Political Science).
The organisers expressed gratitude to the collaborating partners and medical teams for their support in making the event a success.
