Assembly X-E & X-F (25-04-2023)

Topic: “ DANCE: THE LANGUAGE OF THE SOUL”

On the occasion of International Dance Day, the students of class 10E and 10F presented their class assembly on the topic, “DANCE: THE LANGUAGE OF THE SOUL” Dance has been a part of human culture for thousands of years and continues to be a powerful form of expression and communication, dance has the power to bring us together and transcend cultural and language barriers.

The assembly started with the morning prayer “Itni shakti humain dena” presented by Deepti, Dhruv, Lekhika, Pratha, Meghvarshini, Navneet, Nikhil, Shivang, Aryan, Ditya, BS Tarun, Devansh, Ishan and Yuvraj. It was followed by Ganesh Vandana by Omya and Shloka by Meghavarshini. The thoughts for the day were presented by Bhavni, Pratha, Rachit and Nyra followed by the News and speeches by Kanav, Pranav, Saksham, Shreya, Tarun, Alisha, Aadhya and Aarav. The Instrumental Music was presented by Abhiveer, Aryaman, Pahal, Sumanyu, Shaurya, Vidush, Tanmaya, Aryaman, Navneet, and the Choir by  Aamini, Abhiveer, Ananya, Aryaman, Neil, Arshiya, Jatin, Aiza, Alisha, Amyra, Bhavini, Lekhika, Meghvarshini,  Omya, Pratha, Sanvi, Sanchi, Sonakshi and Yuvraj. A beautiful fusion dance performance was presented by  Anwita, Avaaniee, Gayatri, Trisha, Samaira Kumar, Triambika and Seher.

The assembly was concluded with words of appreciation by the Headmistress, Class representatives and Class teachers and was concluded with the School Anthem and National Anthem.

The Fysics of Fun – An Illustrated Guide by Diya Singhal

Diya Singhal of XII-K officially launched her debut book, “The Fysics of Fun” in the World Book Fair 2023 and received the Best Science Comic Award. From the basics of Newton’s laws to the complexities of quantum mechanics, Diya covers a wide range of topics in an approachable way. Diya’s talent as an artist is on full display, as she creates whimsical and engaging drawings that help to illustrate the concepts she is explaining. It is a perfect blend of science and art, featuring relatable characters, stunning illustrations, and an engaging storyline, making it a must read for everyone.

Assembly XII-U & XII-W (20-04-2023)

Topic: DEKHO BASANT AAYA- EVERY ENDING HAS A NEW BEGINNING

India is a farm based economy. Basant or spring brings happiness for the farmers. It is the time for harvesting the Rabi crop and preparing land for the kharif crop.

Different festivals are held in different parts of India. The theme aims at bringing out the fact that life is an ongoing process and that every end must have a new beginning just like the end of the Rabi season ushers in the beginning of the kharif season.

The Students of XII – U and XII – W presented a montage on the topic — Dekho Basant Aaya – Every ending comes with a new beginning.The assembly commenced with the prayer ‘Ae Malik tere bande ham’’ sung by Advait, Diva, Upmanyu, Shreya, Lavanya Sehwag, Raina, Vaani, Sefat, Palchin, Guncha, Zunaira, Lakshmi, Devyani, Abhishek, Jahnvi, Sidharth and Amaya. The comperes Shreya, Ananya and Sheen introduced the topic and invited Lakshita and Samaira G to say the thought of the day as well as Charolekha, Jaivardhan, Sadiya and Aamishi to read the news. This was followed by Durga Vandana by Stuti, Ananyaa M, Ajooni and Sripriya and a mesmerizing presentation that presented an amalgamation of theater, music and dance by Advait, Diva, Upamanyu, Shreya, Lavanya, Raina, Vaani, Sefat, Palchin, Guncha, Zunaira, Lakshmi, Devyani, Abhishek, Jahnvi, Sidharth, Ananyaa M, Amaya, Meet, Diva, Zunaira, Rabia, Aryan, Sefat, Ajooni, Kimaya and Annhad. The dance performance was headed by Kyra, Trisha, Aanya, Vrishti, Samaira Malik, Jaisia and Samaaira Malhotra.

The aesthetic artwork and virtual designing was headed by a dedicated team that comprised of Ananya S, Yoshita, Sara, Advait, Upmanyu, Abhilasha, Vrishti, Arya, Samaira G, Shreya, Vrishti, Abhilasha, Aamna and Kimaya.The comperes Jaysal, Vandya and Sheen Madan concluded the assembly by encapsulating the relevance of every ending with a new beginning.

Assembly X-A & X-B (19-04-2023)

Topic: “EVERYDAY IS A NEW BEGINNING”

Each day of our life is a new beginning. Regardless of our circumstances, begin each day of a new year with a smile oozing with hope and expectations. If you look at each day as a new beginning, you will feel happier, more energetic and more motivated. This is what the students of class X A and X B have tried to portray through their assembly with the topic ‘Everyday is a New Beginning.’

The assembly began with a heartfelt prayer by Akash, Aryveer, Daksh, Devraj, Hritika, Harshit, Ishi, Manya, Modh. Ali, Manya, Pranshu, Rujul, Inayat, Rohit, Sanidhya, Subham, Vibhav, Vidhi, Abhinav, Aishani, Akshit, Aniruddh, Aryan Jha, Bhavishya, Bhavya, Hari Bala, Hridya, Ishant, Kanika, Malvika, Mayank, Raunak, Ronak, Shivam, SK M Harris, Sushant, Tanisha, Tanya Malhotra and Yashica Chaprana. Followed by our Principal, Ms. Padma Srinivasan’s welcome address and her recital of an eloquent prayer. Thereafter, Harshita, Pavni, Anahita and Swastika staged a breathtaking Ganesh Vandana, preceded by shloka recitation by Pranshu. After which Aishani and Sushant gave us a new perspective towards life with their thoughts for the day. N Ashwin, Tavish, Aryan Jha and Bhavishya enlightened us with current affairs.

Arush Dua, Arush Kapoor and Keshav, Hritika, Inayat, Aarav, Aaryan Jaiswal, Aishani, Bhavya, Chinmay, Ishaan, Malvika and Yashica Chaprana were a part of the choir commemorating a Fusion Song depicting a New Beginning. Continuing the assembly, Garima and Aryan Pandey recited an energetic poem giving a strong message pertaining to our assembly’s theme. Vidhi Malik, Avihan and Giana highlighted the significance of the festivals through their speeches. After that Aanandi, Mahira, Nivida, Palak, Jasnoor, Prakriti, Sanvi, Taanya Arora and Yashika Kanojia did a splendid dance on New Beginning.

Ira brought the assembly to an end with the vote of thanks. The e-cards and digital presentation were curated by Aayush and Madhav. Boards, folders and invite cards were created by Mahira, Nivida, Palak, Ritwik and Vidhi, Giana and Gurpiya . Aayush handled the role of editor. The overall compering was done by Arush Dua, Harkarman, Garima, Nistha, Sanidhya, Aarav, Aaryan Jaiswal, Aryan Pandey, Akshat, Gurpiya, Ishaan and Kartikeya.

Global Millet Conference 

Students of Classes VI-VIII attended the Global Millet Conference at Pusa Institute on 18 March 2023. It was quite an engaging experience for the students as they learnt a lot about the millet production and the Government’s initiatives in the agriculture sector.  The students interacted with the exhibitionists and enjoyed themselves. It was a fruitful and a unique experience for them. They were escorted by the respective Class Representatives, Ms. Ekta Arora, Dr. P Chinna and Ms. Divya Kapoor.
