Topic- Friend; Because of you , I laugh a little louder, cry a little less and smile a lot more.

The doers and dreamers, the believers and thinkers, they are our friends who inspire us and help us grow. On the basis of little practice and careful observation of people’s actions towards us, we can learn to discern the rightful friends. A good friendship is rooted in the principle of mutual respect and well wishing that could possibly help achieve one’s true potential. Choosing friends wisely is important as they greatly influence us. On August 6, 2021 class XI A celebrated this friendship and expressed gratitude for all the friends that we have made along the way.

The class presentation was introduced with a meaningful shloka by Mansha Kapoor and proceeded on to a beautiful hymn by Kunsang Lhaze. Comperes Vedika Shukla and Vipransh Sharma helped us kickstart the day with a very enthusiastic welcome. Semsang Lama recited a soothing prayer. Praayashi Kakran then threw some light on the importance of being connected with our friends and the sense of safety and interdependence that friendship instilled and Aarav Mathur presented the thought for the day. In addition, we had Kunsang Lhaze playing ukulele with a delightful song and Navya Malhotra with a remarkable self-composed poem which further highlighted the topic. The comperes ended the programme with a note of thanks. Mahwesh Shareef helped in editing. The assembly wouldn’t have been possible without Tanishq Agarwal and Shruti Agarwala helping with the creative designing.
