A workshop was organized for the parents of class VII students on Wednesday, 30th August 2017. It was held from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm in the AVH. The topic was based on the concept of better parenting.
The Guest Speakers were Mr. Anand Agrawal, Additional Controller, Ministry of Defence and Dr. Vishal Chhabra, Psychiatrist, Fortis Healthcare.
Mr. Anand Agrawal spoke about the use of social media. He advised the parents to be careful and monitor the excessive use of social media by their children. Dr. Vishal Chhabra spoke about various parenting styles and urged the parents not to give in to the unreasonable demands of their children.
The Principal, Ms. Vanita Sehgal and the Headmistress, Ms. Rashmi Malhotra also addressed the gathering. The workshop ended with an interactive session where parents were able to clarify their doubts and seek advice.
