On the 14th of May, 2019 a team of two students from DPS RK Puram attended the Myriad Manifestations English Festival at Delhi Public School, Greater Noida. The event we participated in was Wiz Quiz: The literary quiz. It was essentially a quiz about famous books, authors, plays. The event had two rounds – the preliminary and final round. The Preliminary round was an objective written test with 50 questions that needed to be answered in an hour. A total of 20 teams participated. After the first stage the eight top-scoring teams were ushered into another room for round two. We made it with 47 points out of 50, the highest score for any team. The second round had numerous rounds involving questions about famous characters, lines from books, proverbs and authors. At the end of the second round our team, Roald Dahl had garnered a capacious lead on the points table and were declared winners of the competition.
