The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), in collaboration with the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Media and Entertainment Skills Council (MESC), and Whistling Woods International, Mumbai, organised the National Level Competition – WAVES 2025: Create in India Challenge (Season 1). The event was a part of the World Audio-Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES), a prestigious platform aimed at promoting creativity, innovation, and collaboration in the field of media and entertainment.
Our school, Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram, is proud to announce that its team, comprising Shambhavi Garg (Class XI-S), Yasha Kansotia (Class XI-S), Divyashakti Saroha (Class XI-U), and Rajvir Ajmani (Class XI-J), participated in the challenge. Out of more than 1200 entries received from across the country, our students were shortlisted among the top teams and were invited to attend an exclusive filmmaking workshop conducted by the renowned filmmaker, writer, and actor Mr. Amole Gupte at Whistling Woods International, Mumbai, on 7th and 8th March 2025.
The Digex Club members were mentored by their teacher-in-charge, Ms. Sarika Kaushal, whose unwavering guidance and encouragement were instrumental in their preparation. After the workshop, the main and final round of the competition took place at Whistling Woods International, Mumbai, in the presence of distinguished industry experts. Exhibiting outstanding creativity and innovation around the theme “Technology and Humanity”, our students showcased their talent with excellence and brought laurels to the school by securing the First Prize at the National Level.
The Principal, Mr. Anil Kumar, congratulated the team and commended their outstanding achievement, appreciating both the students and their mentor for bringing laurels to the school at such a prestigious national platform.
