The school had organized an educational tour to Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya for Class VIII students from 26th April to10th May 2024. With the permission and guidance of the Principal, Ms. Padma Srinivasan, it was facilitated by the Headmistress, Ms. Anubha Gopal.
The Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya is a tribute to every Prime Minister of India since Independence, and a narrative record of how each one has contributed to the development of our nation over the last 75 years. The excursion was quite enriching as the museum tells the story of the legacy of Indian Prime Ministers and the history of collective effort, and powerful evidence of the creative success of India’s democracy.
The exhibits were extremely helpful for the students to learn about the history of our country through its Prime Ministers. The entrance was adorned with a 3D printed National Emblem rotating in the air. Adding to the appeal was an artistic mobile installation of multiple kinetic LED lights forming a dynamic pattern of the National Flag representing freedom, progress and growth of the nation.
Overall the field trip was an enriching experience that left an indelible impression on the minds of the students, inspiring them to dedicate themselves to the mission of taking our country to greater horizons. The guided tour was a great learning experience for the students.
