Independence Day Events
“Innovation no longer remains a choice but has become an imperative.”
The Think Club of Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram, under the counsel of club in-charge, Ms. Archna Deepak, organised a series of inter-section competitions for classes VI-XII on the occasion of Independence Day, with the aim of challenging the students’ spontaneity and encouraging critical thinking. The events took place virtually on Google Meet and Google Classroom.
Confabulation is one of Think Club’s most coveted annual events to develop the student’s creativity and innovation. It was a Group Discussion event for the students of classes XI and XII.
During the event, students were asked to articulate their thoughts on the topic, “Sone Ki Chidiya 2.0” individually.
The event was judged by former Think Club Presidents Ms. Medhaavi Didi and Ms. Shreya Nimbali.
India’s Think Tank was an exhilarating platform for students of classes IX and X to come up with innovative solutions for common problems faced by the states of India.
Participants were required to come up with creative solutions to state-specific problems which were assigned to them, keeping local and geographical conditions in mind. They were asked to make a brief synopsis or presentation regarding the same, and present it to the panel of judges.
The event was judged by alums Mr. Tejas Vaid and Mr. Mayank Sachdeva.
Connect gave its participants an opportunity to think outside the box, leave their comfort zones and explore solutions in the unknown. It pushed the students of classes VI-VIII to view the world with more curious eyes and get their ideas in motion.
Participants were provided with 8 words, out of which they were required to innovate on any 4 words of their choice. They were given 2 hours to come up with practical ideas and 3 minutes to present these ideas to the panel of judges.
The event was judged by the alums Ms Medhaavi Didi and Mr Mayank Sachdeva.
Certificates of merit were awarded to the winners, while all participants were presented with Certificates of Participation.
