DPS R.K.Puram believes that schools have a very unique role in environmental protection. They can help students become conscientious stewards of the environment, protecting it for themselves and the generations to come.
It is indeed an honour for the school to be recognized for the Certificate of Appreciation as one of the ‘Best Project School’ as part of the Green Olympiad by The Energy and Resources Institute(TERI), New Delhi. This award is supported by UNESCO and CBSE. The school has been actively involved in the programme since 2008.
The teachers of the Biology Department under the leadership of the Principal, Dr D.R.Saini and under the guidance of Ms Anita Singh, Headmistress (VI-VII); Mr S.K. Arora, Head, Biology Department have been continuously striving to create awareness amongst the students through various activities.
The Principal congratulated the Environment Club Incharge, Ms Niva Chhonkar and all the teachers of the Biology Department for their dedication, teamwork and effort.
