From 24th May 2015 to 29th May 2015, the Jharkhand Bowling Association organised the 5th National Lawn Bowls Championship and 1st U25 Lawn Bowls Championship at R.K. Anand Bowling Green Namkom, Ranchi.
The fiirst position was bagged by Jharkhand, 2nd by Assam and 3rd by Delhi. 7 Students from DPS RK Puram were part of the Delhi State Team.
BOYS :
Anant Ashutosh Sharma (XII-F) : Won 3 Bronze medals in the Men’s Fours, Men’s Doubles and Mixed Triples category and also scored 96.8% in the class XII CBSE Boards this year.
Harshbir Singh (XII-K) : Won 2 Bronze Medals in in the Men’s Fours and the Men’s Triples Category.
Yash Rawat (XI-V) : Won 2 Bronze Medals in the Men’s Doubles and Mixed Triples Category.
Shrehit Goel (XI-F) : Participated in the U25 Lawn Bowls Championship.
GIRLS :
Anushri Upadhyay (X-A) : Won Silver Medal in the Women’s Fours category.
Shaista Sharma (X-K) : Also won the the Silver Medal in Women’s Fours category.
Rajasvi Panwar (XI-Q) : Participated in the U25 Lawn Bowls Championship.
