A team of two students comprising of Navoneel Bandyo (Class VII G) and Gargi Panda (Class VI A) won the second prize in ‘Interact 2019’, an Inter-school Science competition organised by Mount Carmel School, Anand Niketan on July 23rd 2019. The topic of the Model making competition was ‘Interdependence of biotic and abiotic components’. The students, mentored by the Biology department teachers built a Terrarium with live specimens of insects, ants, earthworms and green plants to demonstrate the interaction between the biotic and abiotic factors of the environment which helps to sustain life on Planet Earth.
