Students Meet the Chief Justice of India on Raksha Bandhan

In a memorable and enriching experience, students of Classes XI and XII from Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram had the privilege of meeting the Hon’ble Chief Justice of India, Justice Surya Kant, on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, at the Judges’ Lounge, Supreme Court of India, on 24th August 2026.The students were accompanied by their Legal Studies teacher, Ms. Sabreena Bansal, and Political Science teacher, Ms. Harveen Kaur Sawhney.

During the interaction, the Hon’ble Chief Justice engaged warmly with the students, discussing their future aspirations and offering valuable insights into the diverse career opportunities available to them in the field of law. His words of guidance and encouragement left a deep and lasting impression on the young minds present.

As a mark of the festive spirit of Raksha Bandhan, the students tied Rakhis to the Chief Justice, symbolising the bond of trust and protection that the judiciary shares with the citizens of the nation.
