The Solar Ambassador Workshop held at Delhi Public School , RK Puram aimed to educate and empower students with knowledge about solar energy, sustainability, and environmental consciousness for the classes VI to X. The event took place on 5th December, 2023 in the Physics Lab, Circular Block and was organized by Think Club of the school, in collaboration with Energy Swaraj Foundation.
Objectives of the workshop were to-
- Provide students with a comprehensive understanding of solar energy and its benefits.
- Foster awareness about renewable energy sources and their impact on the environment.
- Equip students with practical skills related to solar technology.
- Encourage hands-on learning through interactive sessions and activities.
- Motivate students to adopt sustainable practices in their daily lives.
- Showcase the potential of solar energy as a viable and eco-friendly alternative.
