In a special ceremony, Delhi’s Chief Minister Mr.Arvind Kejriwal felicitated eminent teachers at the State Teachers Awards on Monday, 7 September 2015. The ceremony was held at the Thyagraj Sports Complex in Delhi. The students also preformed beautifully in order to pay tribute to the honourable chief guest and awardee teachers. Mr.Arvind Kejriwal expressed his appreciation for the invaluable contribution to education made by the teachers
Dr. Renu Nayar was presented this prestigious award. She has a rich experience of 26 years of teaching Economics in Delhi Public School, R. K. Puram. Dr. Nayar has been a scholar throughout having done her post graduation from the prestigious Delhi School of Economics. Her immense and in-depth knowledge on the subject and her passion for teaching students makes her an exemplary educationist. She has authored several books on Economics. Dr. Nayar regularly organises various intra- and inter-school activities.
