Seminar on Entrepreneurship by THINK LAB

Entrepreneurship education aids students to think outside the box and nurture unconventional talents and skills. Keeping this is view, THINK LAB had organised a seminar to introduce the students to entrepreneurship. The seminar  was held in the AVH of the school which was attended by three hundred students of class 12th .

The guest speaker for the seminar was Ms. Tripti S. Shinghal who is a chartered accountant and a post graduate in law with experience in business and financial advisory for various multi-national organisations comprising due diligence reviews ,assisting clients in identifying post acquisition/integration issues ,forensic audits , statutory and other business advisory services. She had single handedly managed MIT global Startup Workshop as a local partner and was recognised an outstanding fellow for the same.

As Ms.Tripti enlightened the students with the Startup ideas of young minds and how to tackle the challenges which one faces.  She laid emphasis on the importance of being willing to learn because that makes one well equipped to face the changing world. Being curious is important for excelling in any job and dong it better because you ask questions , learn from others and look for ways to do your job better .Everyone is going to be new to the workplace at some point in their lives. When one is vigilant to learn, he/she can accomplish great things.

She further elaborated by  giving  examples of how people below the age of 21 years have excelled at business and have made a mark for themselves in the world.

She went on to ask the children to stay in touch with the new startups. When one is planning to start a business of their own,  then being in constant touch with the new ideas developing around the world gives one an upper hand. The children paid attention and were hence glued to their seats.

The thoughtful and informative seminar ended with the vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Archna Deepak
