An orientation programme was held for the parents of students studying in class VIII, on 12th April 2019. Parents of sections B, C, E, G, I and K were called for the session at 2.45-3.45 p.m. Parents of sections A, D, F, H and J were called at 3.45-4.45 p.m. The venue for the programme, were the respective classrooms in BL, D, C and Circular Blocks.
The class teachers started the interactive session by reading out a few guidelines to ensure greater discipline and care of their wards. The examination module was talked about. Attendance and punctuality was stressed upon. It was reiterated that wearing of the RFID cards is mandatory. The subject teachers spoke about the approach taken by them towards academics. They also clarified the parents’ apprehensions and queries. A brief tea session for the parents brought the programme to an end.
