IMPORTANT INFORMATION ONLY FOR PARENTS OF
THE SELECTED CANDIDATES
Shortlisted applicants are required to reach Delhi Public School, Sector XII, R.K.Puram, New Delhi 110022 along with their ward for a medical check-up with the school Doctor.
It is mandatory to bring the following papers / documents to complete the admission formalities for both Pre-School (DPS Vasant Vihar/ East of Kailash) and Class – 1 (DPS East of Kailash) for the Session 2023-2024.
A Pay Order / Demand Draft of ₹ 85,000/- (Rupees Eighty Five Thousand only) in favour of the respective Junior School i.e. Delhi Public School, Vasant Vihar / Delhi Public School, East of Kailash payable at New Delhi, is to be submitted out of the total school fees (approx. ₹ 2,15,000/- excluding transport fee) . This amount will be adjusted against the fee for the academic session 2023 – 2024. The balance amount will be paid in subsequent installments. Details will be mentioned in the fee bill which will be issued in due course of time.

4. Registration
Registration for the applicants under General Category (Open Seats) will be completely Online on the school website www.dpsrkp.net . There will be no paper form for registration.
Important:
There is NO FEE charged for the Online Registration.
There are three steps of registration [Step 1] [Step 2] [Step 3 – Registration Complete]
Registration will only be considered complete when you receive a Registration Number after completion of Step 3.
It is mandatory for the applicant to take a print out of Step 3 carrying the Registration Number on it.
There is NO NEED for physical submission of the hard copy/printout of the registration acknowledgement Slip/Registration Confirmation Page.
Duplicate registration will automatically amount to the cancellation of any one of the registrations of the applicant.
If your area is not mentioned/listed in the area drop down – select the location closest to your residence given in the drop down option.
Mismatch of the area selected, and the residential address (colony) will amount to cancellation of registration. The school cannot be held legally responsible for any such lapse made by the applicant.
Apply for admission to only one of the two Junior Schools (DPS East of Kailash OR DPS Vasant Vihar).
Applications submitted in both the schools will result in the CANCELLATION of both the applications.
5. Neighbourhood Consideration

6. Essential Documents Required
The applicants shall submit a set of SELF ATTESTED photocopies of the documents listed below, and produce the relevant original documents for the verification of the same as and when asked by the school (Refer point 7 (iii)).

LETTER OF UNDERTAKING
Admission to the school is subject to verification of the documents listed above, and submission of a letter of undertaking, self-attested by both the parents in front of the school admission verification team. The undertaking would require you to clearly certify that the information provided is correct and the documents submitted are true copies of the original.
This undertaking will also imply that the parents accept the decision of the school to cancel the registration / admission as final and binding, if at any given time any information or document submitted is found to be wrong/fake/false/incorrect.
Both the above mentioned criteria will be strictly followed. Kindly note the admission schedule and list of documents to be submitted very carefully.
7. Steps involved in the Admission Process for GENERAL CATEGORY:

i | At the first instance, the names of the ‘SHORT-LISTED’ applicants who have higher value points (above the cut-off i.e. above the points of other applicants) will be displayed on the school website – https://www.dpsrkp.net The ‘GENERAL Category LIST FOR DRAW OF LOTS’ (for applicants with same value points in a tie for the remaining seats) will also be displayed on the school website – https://www.dpsrkp.net NOTE: Criteria for Twins: In the case of twins, if one is selected the other twin will get sibling points. In a situation of draw of lots, the names of both will be considered in a single chit. Either both will be selected or both will not be considered for admission. |
ii | The details and schedule (date, time & venue) of the ‘GENERAL CATEGORY DRAW OF LOTS’ will be available on the school website https://www.dpsrkp.net. Kindly note that SMS and/or Email will not be sent separately to intimate the same.

iv | FIRST LIST – The First List of PROVISIONALLY SELECTED CHILDREN & WAITLISTED CHILDREN will be displayed on the school website for further completion of formalities i.e. filling up of the Admission Form, submission of true copies, verification of Original Certificates, medical formalities and fee deposit. |
v | SECOND LIST – After assessing the vacancies, the Second List (if any) of PROVISIONALLY SELECTED CHILDREN will be declared as per schedule. Accordingly, the positions of the waitlisted children under the GENERAL CATEGORY LIST will move up. In case of any further vacancies, subsequent list(s) will be declared. |
