The Annual Language Festival, held on 15 November 2025 at Delhi Public School R.K. Puram, aimed to highlight the school’s continued commitment to promoting multilingual excellence and fostering an appreciation for diverse linguistic traditions among students.
It gave participants the opportunity to develop their language skills by engaging in challenging linguistic and literary competitions. The events of the fest were a vibrant showcase of creativity, expression and cultural insight, offering participants the perfect platform to test their abilities in real-world communication scenarios.
Ten competitions in five languages, namely, Hindi, Sanskrit, French, Spanish and German, were organised as a part of the fest. The events were as follows:
- HINDI:
The festival commenced with the ‘काव्य-पाठ प्रतियोगिता’ (Kavya Path Pratiyogita), designed to foster a love for Hindi literature. This was followed by the ‘विज्ञापन प्रस्तुतीकरण’ (Vigyapan Prastutikaran), aimed at nurturing creativity, persuasive communication and innovative thinking through original advertisement concepts. Both events witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students of Classes VI–XII. The competitions were judged by Ms Poonam Sharma and Ms Fatima Kirmani.
- SANSKRIT:
The Sanskrit events aimed to enhance the proficiency and fluency of the students in the language. The students of Classes VI-VIII participated in ‘साभिनयसंवाद’ with great enthusiasm and showcased their incredible skills in acting and dialogue. The students of Classes IX-X participated in ‘वार्तावली’. साभिनयसंवाद was judged by Dr Preeti Srivastava while वार्तावली was judged by Mr Hemant Joshi.
