KANWAR ASHISH CRICKET TOURNAMENT 2025

The Kanwar Ashish Cricket Tournament 2025 Under-7 (Boys & Girls) commenced on 16th September 2025 with a grand opening ceremony marked by enthusiasm and excitement. The Principal, Mr Anil Kumar, warmly welcomed the students, teachers and parents from various schools. In his inaugural address, he emphasised the pivotal role of sports in fostering teamwork, discipline and school spirit, while highlighting the values of sportsmanship and the joy of healthy competition.

The tournament saw spirited participation from several school teams, with matches held on the school grounds amid loud cheers from students, parents and teachers. Each game reflected outstanding talent and determination, showcasing remarkable performances from both bowlers and batsmen.

The final match, held on 26th September 2025, was a thrilling contest between DPS East of Kailash and DPS Sector-122, Noida. The nail-biting tournament kept spectators on edge till the last ball, with DPS Sector-122, Noida, emerging as the champions and lifting the coveted trophy.

Awards were presented in various categories, including Wizkid of the Match, Player of the Tournament, Best Bowler, Best Female Bowler, and Best Batsman, celebrating both individual brilliance and team effort.

The closing ceremony was graced by the Principal, Mr Anil Kumar, the Chief Guest, Mr Atul Wassan, a Former Indian Cricketer, and the Guests of Honour, Mr Raj Kumar Sharma, Dronacharya Awardee and Col. Amarbir Singh, Former Adviser, MIS YAS & DDCA. They applauded the young cricketers for their dedication, discipline and true sporting spirit.

The event concluded with a group photograph and resounding cheers, marking the successful culmination of a memorable tournament that celebrated talent, teamwork, and the true spirit of cricket.
