In an inspiring initiative to broaden students’ perspectives on emerging careers, the College Advisory Team of Delhi Public School RK Puram hosted an engaging session by Soka University, Japan, introducing its innovative Green Technology programme under the Faculty of Science and Engineering on Tuesday, 21 July 2026 from 10:30 AM-11:30 AM in the Blossoms Studio.
The session highlighted the growing need to balance rapid technological advancements with environmental sustainability, reminding students that while Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science continue to shape the future, they also depend heavily on finite natural resources such as water and energy. The interdisciplinary programme combines Green Engineering with Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analysis and Business Law, equipping students with the knowledge and skills to develop sustainable technological solutions for tomorrow’s world.
The interactive session witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and parents, many of whom also expressed interest in exploring the university through the Universities Explore Programme 2026 organised by the College Advisory Team. The event reinforced the importance of empowering students to become not only innovators in technology but also responsible stewards of the environment, ensuring that progress and sustainability go hand in hand.
